The wardrobe looks great now it is up but it took us two and a half hours to build and one hour of that was trying to get the doors straight. I agree with the other review that this is difficult to build - if you struggle with DIY maybe its not for you. I would buy it again but only as I have a very handy husband! Our Antique French Bedroom Range is inspired by traditional designs with beautiful hand carved columns. It is built from solid wood throughout, with dovetail joints and solid drawer backs and bases. The furniture is finished in subtly aged vintage white colour. The Antique French bedroom furniture range is an elegant french style of bedroom furniture in an aged white made from New Zealand Pine. Made of Chinese elmwood, the exterior has only been cleaned up, with the mirrors being replaced. The interior of the piece has be completely refurbished for use. It was not uncommon that European merchants would commision pieces to be crafted following European styling.

A great example of East meets West in this 1900's Shanghai Wardrobe. The mirrors have been replaced and the interior completely re-furbished. We have had this sideboard converted into a 6 drawer dresser and painted in the current and popular color lime green. This Elmwood chest hails from the Hebei province. The original cabinets have been converted to drawers to offer the function as a bureau. A wonderful way to add a flavor of Asia to your boudoir.
